Kraft Notecards Meets Happy Forrest Friends & Ringed With Nature For A Fantastic Deal!
Welcome friends, It's time once again for the monthly Gentlemen Crafters Design Team Blog Hop. The Gentlemen Crafters Design Team (#TGCDT) are a group of male crafters & Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators from around the world, that love to share our creative side with you on the 2nd Friday of each month. Be sure to visit all the presenters in this month's hop - links can be found at the bottom of this post.
Every once in a while there is a new item in the catalogue that is just a fantastic do-not-miss deal. I have always found the Memory and More Cards & Envelopes packs this way - beautifully decorated and coordinating, you don't have to do much more to them to get beautiful projects. The KRAFT NOTE CARDS & ENVELOPES 159247 $13.75 although just plain and simple Kraft paper, are just such a deal. Not only do you get 20 card bases and 20 envelopes - you get a cute and sturdy little box to package or store them in. Kraft paper takes to ALL our designer series papers because it is very neutral in colour, and it has that nostalgic feel of simpler times when gifts were wrapped in plain paper and tied with string.
I know, you thinking; "But they're only note cards.....I can't mail them". This is true, but think about it this way - if you dress these little cards up with a bit of Designer Series Paper and some stamping, and decorate the box, you have a lovely gift to give someone for under $20 in total. Think about A Birthday or Anniversary - maybe a Wedding or a New Baby - all those occasions can use a box of Invitations or Thank You cards to send back to people for gift giving. Be creative with your gift giving and people will truly LOVE the gift.
158952 HAPPIER THAN HAPPY BUNDLE $66.50
159889 RINGED WITH NATURE BUNDLE $72.75
The Happy Forrest Friends and Rings of Nature products cross over so well with each other, I have used them both for creative fun now for a couple weeks. My main project uses only the tree ring stamp to decorate the box lid, but is not entirely necessary - the trees or mushrooms from Forrest Friends could easily be used instead. There are loads of fun die cut pieces between both sets that you can use for decorating as well. I am still working on decorating my note cards as of this blog post as I don't yet know what the occasion is or the person receiving them - so I have left them somewhat plain, and I have a box full of die cuts to finish them off with when the time comes to give this gift.
I have also shown a second box decorated with the Rings Of Nature set and the FREE Sale-A-Bration paper - the original design is inspired from a photo I saw on Pintrest.
